Akashic Record - Live at The Milky Way Lounge and Lanes - Jamaica Plain, MA - February 18th, 2005

Ok I have to admit that I tool a 180 degree turn with this one. Then again I am not sure there are any rules to this gig, but I could be wrong. I was out on the Internet Archive searching for this weeks Live Drop and came across Akashic Record. This show in Jamaica Plain, MA caught my eye cause I used to live right around the corner from the old Milky Way and loved the nostalgia of it. Akashic Record is a funk/jazz band that I had never heard before this first listen. For the genre fan I think it could be a great one. For those like me, I think you will find the quality great and will have no problem sticking it on at your next house party. I think it is quality and may even fit into my work music rotation. Enjoy.
