The prolific son of punk rocker Bibbe, Beck is back with his 8th full length album to reclaim his tenuous perch on top of the electro pop funk scene. After the mind fuck at the hands of a broken heart brought us “Sea Change”, Beck is back to his roots with lyrics and beats ranging from the lugubrious to the spontaneous remeniscient of “Odelay”. In the right hands these lyrics can define a generation. Some of us see the face of kindness and smell the morning roses. For the rest of us its too much to ask of faith, and too late to wait for fate. For the AKA crew, Guero is a must have album.

Mr Lagan,

P.S Newman has packed his bags and is trotting down to Somerville right now. He said he would write. Meow

Good work. At first Guero felt like an Odelay rip off, but more frequent listens have proven that it does have a life of its own.
keep up the good work

J-nice, I’m glad you asked about Becks father. I have no idea who he was or if he was a punk rocker. However, his mother (the aforementioned Bibbe) was in a punk drag out fit called Black Flag.
This Newman…can you describe him?
