Cooking For Engineers represents exactly how I feel about cooking. For me cooking is not a chore but is the art of chemistry taking place in a kitchen rathen than in a lab. The site captures what is the science behind the culinary arts in a similar manner as the Food Network’s Alton Brown. They not only talk food and their attributes, but they also include experiments from their test kitchen (see homemade marshmellows), Equipment & Gear Reviews, and general food commentary. From salsa to homemade pasta, things always come out better when you know what, why, and how things are happening. So for those who need to understand the art of brining or just want to reconnect with their scientific self while cooking up a nice meal for their lady check out Cooking For Engineers. I think you will like what you see.
Enjoy
