I finally got the GreaseMonkey extension for Firefox loaded up this morning after many failed attempts. After installing my first script (Gmail Label Colors thanks to slapjack adam), it was time to start searching for some more. I was really interested in what was available to assist in listening to and downloading mp3’s from the sites in my daily rotation. So I hopped over to Userscripts.org, typed MP3 into the tag search, and was pretty pumped about what I found. Here are 2 that I loaded up and have been using for the past hour or so with great success:

1. Inline Mp3 Player - Replace every link to mp3 file on page with a tiny inline player button to hear without leave the page.
2. Playlist - Generate an M3U playlist of all the MP3s on a page. (If you are using iTunes to play your music, check out my recent post on how to make iTunes play m3u playlists the way you would expect it to.)

I really like the playlist generator. It makes for seemless streaming of any mp3 found on any web page. If anyone knows of additional audio scripts please forward them on.

Enjoy
