Confused of Calcutta is a blog that I found this afternoon and it offers some great posts that make you think…especially if you deal with marketing and how the dynamic between customer and company is evolving. I recommend the following to start with…Musings About Tweets As Recommendations and Thinking further about syndication. His thoughts on the Four Drivers Model (see second article) really hit home and still has me thinking. Good content and syndication is truly king.

Cluetrain was way ahead of its time when it comes to companies inability to keep up with the changing dynamics of markets. Scroll to the bottom of their site and read 95 Theses. The list of people who commented and signed the manifesto is impressive.

It is all about the Atomization of Conversation. Think about it. We do it all the time. Is it a bad thing? I am not sure yet if it takes away some of the substance of how we truly interact or not….but it certainly takes a chunk out of the small talk. Some times I need small talk.
All these adult topics…maybe I am finally growing up. Doubt it.
