One of the toughest things about finding new music on the web, is actually listening to the music. There are many times that I am on a record label’s website and find a page full of MP3 links and have to spend my time clicking on them one by one in order to listen. This is not very cool.
Well Webjay has a way to make this much easier. They offer something called “Play This Page”. This service will read the contents of whatever web page you are on, strip out all audio and video related links and build a play list for you. Once the list is created, you have the choice of how you want to play it. Here is the step by step on how to do it for yourself.
1. Add the “Play This Page” link to you browser shortcuts.
2. Find a webpage that has Audio or Video Links. (Keep in mind this will only work on sites that have direct links to the audio/video file. Meaning Flash sites are not applicable unfortunately) Try this site for starters.
3. Once the site comes up, click on your “Play This Page” bookmark and soon enough Webjay will create your play list.
4. Select how you would like to play the list and enjoy
So that’s my trick and I swear by it. Without that little tool, it would take me days to find new tunes out there. Check out the MP3 Blog Rotation sites I have listed in the side bar and give it a shot for yourself.
Enjoy and keep you eye’s open for akaRaff Radio Drop 012.
