Aberdeen City has been hailed as the next band to break out of the local Boston scene.Their sound has been compared to the likes of U2, Echo and The Bunnymen, Sonic Youth, and of course, Radiohead. They recently won a Boston Music Award for best local song. The band will be performing live on WFNX 101.7, Sunday Oct. 30th, 2005 at 10:00pm, and they’re heading over to T.T. the Bears on Friday Nov. 4th for the record release show for their debut CD “The Freezing Atlantic“.
