On Friday Aug. 19 Singer/guitarist Mark Nelson will be performing solo at the CD release party for his new album “World Gone Cool”, at the Sky Bar in Somerville, MA. As the frontman for the Boston based band Machinery Hall, Mark has made a name for himself locally for delivering raw, energetic performances, and his melody driven songwriting. Machinery Hall’s sound consists of loud distorted guitars and powerful lyrics. Check out their album “Tear It Down

Great Find Hollaback. This live show is really pretty good and makes me want to check this guy out at the Sky Bar.

Definately worth checking out. I’ve only seen them once, unlike Holla, but well worth checking out.
