As fans and most music blog readers have likely heard by now, they had nearly all of their equipment stolen after completing a stellar kick-off show at Manhattan’s Bowery Ballroom. The fact that they not only showed up in Boston the very next day, but played an excellent set to a packed Paradise, says an awful lot about ‘em. Lesser bands would have taken at least a day or two to recover.

***Mental Note*** DO NOT park my car in front of the Bowery Ballroom. Just ask the Brian Jonestown Massacre, who also had all of their equipment stolen back in September before their show at the ballroom.
