Let me start off by giving a huge thanks to my friends at WHYME for giving ::aka:Raff:: a shout out on their episode 30 podcast. These folks really know how to treat their Listener Wall of Fame members and their many friends around the globe. It is only right for me to do the same.

I have been listening to the dynamic married duo, Seth and Jessica, for the past few months and think it is about time to give them some props. This show, which is based out of Philadelphia, is as they put it is a “Rockin’ Indie Podcast”. But I think it is much more. It is a glimpse into the life of a married city couple with a few kids, livin’ and lovin’ the music, friends, and activities that make their days tick. It is obvious from the first listen that these two enjoy what they do unlike some casters out there who just begin to sound like they are doing a job after a while.

Much of the program is spent on Indie music. The cool thing about it is that the music they play tends to come from people that they know or have met. They don’t hop on the normal indie bandwagon and spend their time spinning tunes by artists that you hear on other casts. Seth, a talented musician and song writer in his own right, goes by the moniker of Seth Third Son of Albert and usually includes one of his original, off the cuff free-style tunes on each show. One of my favorite’s is Peter Pan’s Revenge. Some of the other artists frequently found on the show include Menomena, Bad News Bats, Apse, Voxtrot, Le Magicien, and many more. From another angle, Jessica, who I must admit has a sexy yet motherly on air tone, adds the occassional well written hidden gem movie review, female pleasantry, and other general commentary. In the end they add up to make a great team and an entertaining show.

So take some time in your day to check out WHYME and see for yourself. Also check out some of these other podcasts to hear some frequent Seth and Jessica cameos: Tracks Up the Tree, Fake Science Lab Report, Illinoise!, and Vox Monitor to name a few. Or At least listen to Episode 30 and hear the props that they dropped on me.

If I had 2 more hands I would give these titties 4 thumbs up.

enjoy
