Here is a fun site for those who keep up with all of the big Silicon Valley deals and want to hear the more human side of things. Valleywag is the page six of the Silicon Valley. Through mostly unnammed “sources”, this guy tracks the comings and goings of people like Google owners, Larry Page and Sergey Brin and especially enjoys needling Lloyd Braun, the head of Yahoo Media Group. (btw. The Seinfeld character by the same name was based on this guy. I guess Braun was Larry David’s attorney and lost a golf bet or something like that. I also read that he was the ass at ABC that passed on Seinfeld. If anyone knows the truth let us know.)

Overheard in San Francisco:
Yahoo worker: I went down to Sunnyvale on the train.
Man 1, in surprise: Yahoo workers have to take the train? Google’s got a bus. Don’t you?
Yahoo worker, in mock indignation: We’ve got a bus too. It’s got wifi.
Man 2: It may have wifi, but it doesn’t have any PhDs on it.

It is a light daily read, and for those who follow stuff coming out california, it is definately an entertaining read.
