I am really thinking about getting myself a turntable. Since I do buy music when I like it and my iPod handles all that is portable when it comes to it, why not buy music on wax for those times I don’t need to carry it around. I am not talking about buying every album I like, but just the ones that I love. You know what I mean.
Does anyone have any recommendations for turntables? I am not looking to break the bank, but wouldn’t mind spending a little do-re-mi on something quality.

I recomend checking in with the people from Natural Sound in Framingham. I bought my B&W speakers from them and I couldn’t be happier. They are very knowledgeable without the attitude. THey actually got me into a better speaker than the one I was intending on buying, and it was for less money. I probably demoed 4 or 5 pairs of speakers and at least as many receivers and not once did my sales guy roll his eyes or sigh when I asked him to play another disc for me. They also have a large ammount of pre-owned equipment. You can get some high end shit at reasonable prices. www.natural-sound.com
